A glowing endorsement from an acclaimed champion such as Vincenzo Nibali, the last Italian to have won the Giro, Tour and Vuelta and much more besides makes us all very proud. It comes from a sporting icon and ambassador who we are delighted chose Le Marche to help develop its cycle tourism project across the entire region.

The Granfondo Nibali, starting and finishing in Loreto, aims to create not only a sporting spectacle, but also a tourist experience unique in Italy, intended to allow the discovery of the region while riding your bike.
It’s an event with three ability categories, a way for all to share the love of the bike, riding and nature, with a programme that brings adults and children togther around supporting activities involving authentic Marche cuisine and wine.

The three routes take in medieval towns and villages such as Montelupone, Fiastra, Sarnano, Cingoli, Montefano, and the most emblematic climbs the region has to offer: the spectacular Sassotetto and Monte San Vicino, where the magic of the Sibillini Mountains and the Regional Nature Reserve make this unique area between the province of Ancona and Macerata a real treasure.
